Our Background

We are an Australian-based Aussie and Kiwi family business, regularly travelling between Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

Our founder, Ash, is a Bali travel enthusiast and mother of five school-aged children. Like many travelling families, she found it difficult to access reliable childcare in Bali that could meet her children’s varied needs—including special needs support, anxiety, shyness, and highly social personalities.

With a background as an experienced early childhood teacher, award-winning educator, and national and international speaker, Ash understood exactly the level of care required. Through trial and error, she built a trusted network of local nannies she could rely on while travelling with her own large family.

This experience led to the creation of 1800-Bali-Nannies.

Today, we are a small, carefully vetted team of nannies supported by a dedicated local coordinator, providing families with safe, flexible, and experienced childcare while on holiday in Bali.
