Welcome to 1800 Bali Nanny. By using our website and booking services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. About Our Service

1800 Bali Nanny is an Australian-based referral and coordination service connecting travelling families with independent childcare providers in Bali.

We are not a childcare employer or staffing agency. All nannies and local coordinators operate as independent contractors.

We assist with:

  • matching families with suitable nannies

  • booking coordination

  • communication support

  • local coordination assistance where available

2. Independent Contractors

All nannies and local coordinators referred through 1800 Bali Nanny are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of 1800 Bali Nanny.

Each contractor is responsible for:

  • their own taxes and legal obligations

  • maintaining their own qualifications and experience

  • complying with local laws and regulations

Families acknowledge that nanny services are provided directly by the independent nanny engaged for the booking.

3. Bookings & Deposits

A non-refundable 15% deposit is required to secure all bookings.

The deposit covers:

  • booking coordination

  • nanny matching

  • administration

  • local coordination support

  • communication and scheduling services

The remaining balance is paid directly to the nanny unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

4. Cancellations & Changes

Family Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed.

  • Date or time changes are subject to nanny availability.

  • Last-minute cancellations may result in partial or full payment obligations to the nanny.

Nanny Availability

While we make every effort to secure confirmed bookings, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally occur. If a nanny becomes unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a replacement where possible.

Replacement availability cannot be guaranteed during peak periods.

5. Hours & Overtime

Families must clearly confirm:

  • booking dates

  • hours required

  • number of children

  • accommodation/location details

Additional hours requested directly from the nanny must be agreed upon by both parties and paid accordingly.

6. Family Responsibilities

Families agree to:

  • provide accurate booking information

  • maintain a safe environment for the nanny

  • communicate allergies, medical conditions, behavioural concerns, and special requirements

  • ensure children requiring constant medical supervision are disclosed prior to booking

Families remain ultimately responsible for the care, supervision, and wellbeing of their children at all times.

7. Safety & Supervision

1800 Bali Nanny aims to refer experienced childcare providers; however, families acknowledge that:

  • childcare carries inherent risks

  • children must never be left in unsafe situations

  • parents/guardians remain responsible for final supervision decisions

Families should provide clear instructions regarding:

  • swimming and water supervision

  • transportation permissions

  • allergies and medications

  • sleep arrangements

  • emergency contacts

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1800 Bali Nanny is not liable for:

  • injury, loss, accident, delay, or damage arising during nanny services

  • disputes between families and independent contractors

  • actions or omissions of independent nannies or third parties

  • travel disruptions, illness, weather events, or force majeure circumstances

Our liability is limited to the amount of the booking deposit paid directly to 1800 Bali Nanny.

9. Website Information

We aim to ensure all information on our website is accurate and current; however:

  • information may change without notice

  • availability is not guaranteed

  • pricing and services may be updated at any time

10. Privacy

Information provided through bookings or enquiries is used solely for:

  • booking coordination

  • communication

  • customer support

  • operational purposes

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Australia.
